A limited number of hand carts can be hired in the park.
You can also bring your own handcart.
Please note: The “Pirschpfad” is not suitable for hand carts.
Dogs are welcome in the park! We ask, however, to lead the four-legged guest on a leash.
The entrance for dogs is free!
Dogs are also welcome in our bistro!
There is a barbecue area which must be reserved in advance as there is only limited space available.
There are several picnic areas throughout the park for your own snack.

The circular path around the lake is flat and wide, but not asphalted. Most animals can be discovered here.
In order to get to the kangaroos, emus and bison, a short ascent is necessary.
The Pirschpfad is not recommended for visitors with walking handicaps, as it is very steep. The mouflons in this area, however, are also to be found at the bottom of the flat circular path around the lake.
All enclosures are accessible with the pushchair.

The fishing grounds are leased to a third party!
The Hochwildschutzpark Hunsrück can therefore not grant a fishing permit!
Yes, scooters, children’s bicycles and wheels are allowed for children!
Please note, however, that the park is extensive and the paths are not asphalted. It therefore requires some physical condition to master a park round!
Birthday children – old and young – always have free entry on the day of their birthday!
Don’t forget your passport!
Flight demonstrations take place daily at 3 p.m. in good weather and with a sufficient number of spectators!
At very hot temperatures in summer we have to do without a flight show for the benefit of our animals!
