Recently, a white buck has moved into the fallow deer enclosure. At the pronounced blade formation in the antlers it is immediately clearly identified as fallow deer.
In comparison to other ungulates, color-anomalies occur relatively frequently with the fallow deer, with what black fallow deer are more frequent than white color-morphs. In addition, there are mottled animals, with which individual body-parts are white or black. Our buck is 4 years old.
